The bf and I go on adventures all the time, so since i love the mountains out west, we finally decided to go climb up one…
We went last sunday…it was AMAZING!
Mt Rainier is an active volcano a miles south of Seattle. its huge…you can see it from downtown.
Its 14,000 ft tall. We ended up hiking and climbing up to 5400 ft.
I want to go back and get some good glacier climbin equipment next time we go since we have some friends who have done it. That would be pretty cool…
anyone do something like this?

I was out in Tacoma a few weeks ago and took some pictures of it. It just sort of looms over the city like this huge monster. By volume, it’s the largest mountain in the US. Here’s a pic I took from about 50 miles away.
