Cobalt SS

I’m still not a fan of cobolts…SS or no…

I think the redline Ion looks better on the outside, but the inside is retarded with the canter gauge cluster.

i would never consider any of them…but if they were the last 3 to pick from on the planet i’d probably take them in this order …TC…ION redline…CoboltSS

NOT REALLY I ALREADY CHANGED THE OIL ON 1 YOU JUST BURN YOU HAND WHEN U GO FOR THE FILTER

let it cool before hand :dunno:

(yes I know you work at a dealer and people bring them in hot)

#1 Weismann’s neon is gay.

#2 You own a scion Tc, which is in the same catagory as the cobalt, dont be all arrogant.

#3 the New G6 GTP has a 3.9 S/c motor which the coupe is about the same size as the cobalt, so theres your supercharger on a bigger engine

im kinda surprised. i figured the cobalt SS would be a hit. it seems there r more negative responses than positives on every thread i see. i would love to have one, i think they r pretty cool.

cobalts, scions
:bowrofl:

cobalts and scion’s and boost, oh my!

I was looking at them for a possible daily driver for Jenn. For a prctability standpoint the only thing I didn;t like about them was how small the trunk opening was. If you had a big suitcase you might have an issue…

Other than that I sort of like them.

It doesn’t matter because I’m done with cars for now of my own. Now I may end up having 2-4 motorcycles in my garage in the next 2 years instead :eek4:

Cobalt SS
Length: 180.5 in.
Width: 67.9 in.
Curb Weight: 2991 lbs.
Horsepower: 205 hp

G6 GTP
Length: 189.1 in.
Width: 70.4 in.
Curb Weight: 3450 lbs.
Horsepower: 240 hp

The GTP’s nearly a foot longer, five hundred pounds heavier, and only has 35 more hp despite TWICE THE FUCKING DISPLACEMENT.

to sun this pathetic thread up -

1.scion boy is a fucking moron

2.a cobalt is 11ty billion times better than a scion and just about everything on the planet is better than a cobalt, so do the math on that one

3.scion boy is a fucking moron

4.drag cars are not even remotely close to production cars, so quit saying that the 3127487hp gm drag car means that the cobalt is better. It better because it’s not a scion, not because of the drag car

5.scion boy is a fucking moron

So by your logic, a 1990 CRX and a 1994 Integra are “about the same size”?

only a 500 lb difference…

apples and oranges.

A scion TC has a better resale value, better warranty, better initial quality, is more reliable, gets better mileage, and outperforms every Cobalt but the supercharged one.

The supercharged Cobalt is faster and can generally be had at better financing terms (rate & duration) than the Scion. The non-supercharged Cobalt is beaten by the Scion in every way but cost.

would you STFU. I’m trying to see how pissed off I can make scion boy.

lol…my bad, yo.

the scion really is a nice car though… it’s a little heavier than i’d like, and i don’t like the cheap plastic door that hides the stereo, but it’s built on a solid Toyota platform (Avensis) and has a very proven motor (the Camry four-banger). Comparing the two cars (Scion & non-s/c Cobalt), the Scion is a much nicer car for the money. And if I’m not mistaken, you could probably get a TRD supercharger on the Scion and be out the door for about the same price as the s/c SS.

none of that stupid shit pewter. Now say something derogetory about a 4cyl.
