i’m definately with you on this one. TA was definately the best. the graphics was great and still decent IMO but it was one of the first 3D games of the type i think.
I didn’t know there was another C&C out i own the entire serise (origional copies) so i can’t even play the dos one’s anymore 
I guess i have a purchase in my near future.
generals was ok but the missions were extremely easy and short. I can rip through the game in a matter of hours and that is nothing like the real C&C games, where you might spend hours on one mission. I enjoyed the fact that the origional C&C games wern’t destroy everything in every mission. They would break it up with a spy mission here and there or something.
