they are actually made by Jiang Su or Top Victory this year. they are not made by samsung FYI. it’s a super solid purchase though. please don’t take this as negative.
i would say just do display port to DVI to HDMI or do one of those ebay mini display to HDMI adapters. the only downside is you’re not getting audio, but you can get another cable for audio.
Use a mini dvi to hdmi then a normal hdmi cable as said.
For audio use a toslink to optical cable (monoprice) for best quality and/or 5.1
meh, its what i use on my mac mini home theater setup… looks pretty decent.
I would use dvi –> hdmi but all of my hdmi ports are used until i replace my TV, so i’m settling but you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.
yah I got mini display to dvi then dvi to hdmi
for sound I just hook up my comp to my speakers (i dont have cable nor a playstation, so I’m just rolling from the computer
Most tv’s will have a HDMI input that also has an audio L&R port so you can use something such as an audio Y cable to go from that input out to your MBP’s output jack.

now its not noticeable… but DVI was made to replace ds 15 - analog (VGA) its better in the long run…
