Ok, help a noob out here. I have heard different ways to do a compression test on motors like with oil poured down the cylinder and another way is not to use the oil.
I wanna know how to do a compression test properly? Thanks in advance.
Buy a compression tester for Can tire. They are around $50. Comes w/ instrustions. 
Very easy to do.
You should do both you would do the one without the oil first (dry compression test) then the one with the oil (wet compression test) see if there is any difference ion the compression and if there is a big change you know you have a problem.
