I need to get a new heatsink/thermal paste this weekend?
Are there any local stores that stock this stuff?

Place on the corner of Berg + Orchard Park Rd is a locally owned business, kinda pricey though.
At work we get a bunch of stuff from a place called Great Lakes. No idea if they’re open on the weekend or if they even sell to individuals though.
It’s called technophobia. The guy is really nice, I feel bad that it seems like they’re struggling, I’m glad to hear they’re still open… They have tons of stuff.
EDIT:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

I will check out this technophobia place…
Does anyone know if they have a website? I googled and only found the location.
see my edit.
Newman thanks for the huge nerd input
Be warned, I was gonna buy a powersupply from technophobia but I put it back down when they said no returns
Also their main brand is Thermaltake parts which is a kinda crappy brand…
and their stuff is overpriced, I believe they just buy directly from newegg and mark it up 20% or something
I need a heatsink and thermal paste…
I have everything else…I ordered shit from newegg but it won’t be here till next week and I need this computer running for a lab.
USitek off of military. Across from Freewheeling.
What socket heatsink? I have a stock Intel 775 one with thermal paste already on it. I haven’t even cracked the package. I too was in desperate need of thermal paste, as I misplaced my good stuff.
I need one for a AMD 6400+
Damn, can’t help you there…I’m assuming that is a AM2 socket? If I can find my tube of Zalman thermal paste you can have it…I use the arctic silver, it spreads well and works great. I would indeed check the place newman suggested. I’ve been meaning to hit that place up.
When will newegg start retail stores
Yea its AM2
I’m going to run over there shortly…
arctic cooling mx2 > all other pastes
They had a shitty heatsink and it will be fine till next week when my newegg order shows up.
What was your overall opinion of the place? Worth the drive (20-30min for me)? Good selection/prices?
Thats same place I mentioned (before newman) no its a crappy store ProgRocker
that sucks…I think CompUSA would do better here nowadays…Wish we still had that around.
thermaltake is crappy?, might wanna research a bit
