I just downloaded that program, and it found 7 instances of spyware so far… :mad: Ad-aware and Spybot missed them all.
make that 12 instances of spyware not found by any other program… :rant:

You know what’s wierd? I have giant anti spyware on my computer at work, and I can run that and clean up the spyware, and then immediately run ad-aware se after that, and the ad-aware will still find more that giant did not. Wierd. :dunno:
I have downloaded and run 5 different spyware removal programs and every one of them has found different things. they are all different and you would have to have 32.5 different spyware programs to clean everything
I could give a shit about spyware anymore. I just run ad aware every now and then and don’t download shit off of kazaa anymore. if the pc gets too slow, I just ghost it and it’s back to normal in 5 minutes.
i run no ‘spyware’ applications… a lot of the time, the actual scanners will leave files on tnhe pc to dump services after a reboot that will come up as spywar’
so jinxy or whtaever… when you run teh on program, it’s creating an answer file and a delete bat file (essentially) that when you reboot and windows iniitalizes the delete file kills pests before they load, then write to an answer file which allows windows to load services as usual… this is why if you run a scan and then don’t reboot, you may see more files being picked up.
also all scanners are not equal…they all base of similar ideas, but the ‘definition’ files are the strings for seraching… they get updated and some companies have more money into R&D for weeding out pests than others.
best bet is to install windows and understand which services are required… then create a profile with limited rights and do not allow pests to become a problem
or just let them fuck up your computer and then go out and pay someone like me a lot of money to do a little work.

I have heard a lot of good things about Microsoft’s program. I may try it tonight. I have a piece of spyware I can’t seem to remove with ease. It’s one of those edit registry, rename this file, reboot, go here, do that. ugh!
