or to a junkyard, where a guy sees a split window corvette, and decides to buy the shell to restore at a later date, only to find out upon attempting to order parts that his VIN “doesn’t exist in the computer for part matching”…further investigation reveals its a 63 split-window prototype Z06 one of nine made…lol (friend of bonacci’s from work…he paid 15K for the car and its almost finished…worth about a quarter to half million)

Did this happen in a local yard? If so, it had to be a lonnnnnnng time ago because a 63 split window wouldn’t sit for very long in a yard.

Yes. They had the black camaro at delphi a month ago. I got pics on my phone. They camoflauged it with white triangles to break up the sillohuette

bonacci isnt local, was only a local for a lil while, so i would assume it didnt happen in a local yard

When I was a VF in Amherst (north Bailey)We had a call at some place off of sweethome that was a Delphi development place and they had all these weird cars in there.Wish I could remember them.Ecos you remember that?
