how do I have a three-way conversation on a landline phone? I have no idea if I have the three-way feature calling on my plan, I’m with IDT. I am calling two places long distance today and I don’t want to murder my cell with the charges. is there a “three -way” entry code, like “star-six-eight” or something?

I think you call somebody, click over, and then call the other person and voila. I’m not sure though, I’d have to try.
I used to do it with AOL and we’d piss them off. It was the thing to do when I was 12.
while your talking to someone… click over as if you had another call coming in.
You’ll hear a dial tone.
Dial the number.
Click back over to the original call.
You should hear it ringing still.
When the person picks up you’ll have 3 way.
Back in HS we would have like 10 people in a phone call…

call, ask them to “hold”, flash over, dial, then flash back? I don’t want to drop the first callee, it’s gonna take me a half-hour to get through in the first place.
