So, I owe a monstrous thankyou to Pirite and Checko for all of the obscene amounts of time they’ve obliged helping me throughout this build. We had the car put back together around 10pm last night (no pics due to dark)…
I wish I could put into words what it feels like to have this car 98% finished. My buddy down in ohio is going to help me touch up a couple small chips in the paint and do a wetsand/buff/paint correction on it when I get down there and then I just have to install the rub strips on the doors and quarterpanels. The reason the car isn’t 100% done is I still have to repair a set of RS sideskirts (OEM) and then mold them and install them, and I want to do some type of tasteful pair of vents in the hood. Otherwise, I’m DONE!
I never thought I’d say it’s done…but it’s done. What a relief. I’ll have some fresh pics of the completed car probably monday or tuesday from the event I’m attending with the car.
Thanks to everyone for following along in this journey, your support and encouragement got me through a lot of stressful times when I just wanted to call it quits and burn the project to the ground. I very honestly probably couldn’t have done it without you all cheering me on.
Thanks to anyone who I’ve forgotten to mention for various helping hands, parts, and any other way someone has helped. I look forward to just DRIVING and enjoying the car.

had GL GTG not been scheduled the same day (and after I already confirmed going to S.i.F) I would have for SURE came to the GL GTG. If I could be at both somehow, I would lol.
So, spent a couple hours today wetsanding and Bonacci01 did a FANTASTIC job buffing my car…And I forgot to post up how I made up some mounting brackets for the fender-bumper
I’m waiting on some more pics from the Spring inot Focus meet to pop up so I can add them here…but I got a good pic near Bonacci01’s place before I left to head back home to buffalo, to compare to my original photoshop “concept”…I’m pretty close…it’ll get a little closer as I swap out a few little things here and there, but it’s just about right where I thought I’d be with it.
