The first is just weird, the second and third, that sounds stupid but its called ridesharing.
There are a couple companies in NYC that let you spend x amount of dollars per month, and you can borrow one of their cars, fully insured, with gas, and everything.
Its a shitty idea around here, but in the big city you take public transport pretty much everywhere, most people don’t have a use for a car (or parking one).
