Dude believe it. I was at the '09 Tokyo Auto Salon, saw the Nismo R35 display myself, saw the seats with my own eyes, gawked at the price tag, choked the chicken over the titanium exhaust, etc etc etc.
Price tag was set around 2M yen, which is right around 20 large.
To put that into perspective, the entire Nismo package for the R35 is something like 45k all told, and it consists of an exhaust, seats, wheels, tires, and suspension.
For 45k, I would expect that a wheel/tire/suspension/exhaust package should include something extra, like a free 370Z.
But hey, if you got “Arab money”, you may as well do the damn thing.

i can believe 20gs for seats, the most expensive exhaust for an e46 m3 i’ve seen is 20k. they don’t expect to sell more then a couple pairs of the seats probably. so that is the reason for the price.
idk, the stock seats seem pretty nice. Recaro is the shiznit though for seats. I want a set of two fronts in my car.
