That LA lockdown is crazy.
That’s awesome of him to do that. Basically saying that there shouldn’t be a fine at all, but should you get slapped with one, here’s a simple way out.
after some interactions on covid and the videos coming out of the GA suitcase fraud and reflecting on how so many people (including on here) are clearly conflicted about what to believe what is nad is not real i’m maybe getting too fatigued on all of this.
on the other hand, i find all of this so aggregious that giving up the fight, whatever miniscule role I/we may have, just seems unacceptable.
They’re up to over 50,000 scientists, doctors and other experts signed on against all this BS.
Damnnnn
Ready for your eyes to bleed? 3… 2… 1…
When Erie County administrators review the state’s Covid-19 data, they are adding up all tests and all confirmed cases from that day, starting at 12 a.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m. Then they do the math to figure out the daily and seven-day average positive test rate.
The state’s 24-hour reporting period, however, runs from 2 p.m. the previous day to 1:59 p.m. the next. So the Erie County data presented by the state for Tuesday actually reflects test results from 2 p.m. Monday to 1:59 p.m. Tuesday.
This is likely the single biggest reason for the difference in data released by the county and the state, Poloncarz said.
But wait, there’s more!
Erie County’s numbers do not count duplicate tests. If a person with Covid-19 has repeatedly tested positive or negative, Poloncarz has said, their results are only counted once by Erie County to better reflect how many individuals are actually contracting the virus.
But if an individual is repeatedly tested and gets the same results, he said, each of those tests may be counted by the state and figured into its calculations.
And MORE…
Many people are tested and hospitalized in Erie County who are from other parts of Western New York. Erie County epidemiologists weed out cases from people who do not live in the county when collecting the Covid-19 data.
It is unclear how the state is accounting for its data geographically, Poloncarz said, but it’s possible the state is not doing the same type of residential sorting as Erie County.
ahh lying with science and data in real time and explaining it to people up front… and then still doing it and having it be acceptable.
So much for using Sweden as an example for not doing lockdowns.
not sure how long this video will last. any way of downloading it and saving it?
wow… it’s gone already.
basically a union nurse in edmonton speaking at a rally saying there are no people in the hospitals, it’s all a lie and that there was never any surge in patients with the illness.
try this one
Someone at 43North had to know you can’t do this with federal funds. Just add this to the list of COVID related lawsuits coming down the line.
attorney Kevin Stocker told News 4 that there is a general agreement that certain groups such as minorities, women, and veterans do need greater assistance than others- but he questions including those criteria in the application.
“Certain programs are designed to help those in need, but you are not supposed to discriminate when giving out these packages of relief,”
Well that’s just fuckin ridiculous.
I saw a meme today about the vaccine.
Basically:
It’s not safe to get it in person
Mail it to me and I will administer it myself.
Trust me.
Looks like at least one elected official is going to try it. Loophole is a doctor’s excuse, which I’m sure someone out there will hand out like candy.
the Department of Health would have the authority to “mandate vaccination” to anyone who can “safely receive the vaccine” if public health officials see that New Yorkers aren’t developing “sufficient immunity from COVID-19.”
The bill doesn’t define “sufficient immunity,”
We already pay these people pretty good, they can’t buy their own lunches like the rest of us? This is pretty bullshit and a waste of tax money when other people are put out of their jobs.
Is it bad that I’m apprehensive about the vaccine? I’m 100% pro vaccine but not 100% covid vaccine…especially after my sister in law had a meeting yesterday explaining all the side effects that they’ve been seeing across the world with the Pfizer vaccine. I’m in my 30s and healthy…I might wait.
I’m torn about feeling this way.
