Same, my nose runs within minutes, probably seconds if I’m out in the cold with it. I can’t wait to be done. If my job comes to either vaccinate, or wear a mask, I’ll take the vaccine just to not have to deal with it anymore

Curious… will Cuomo go to the Bills game this Saturday? I think he approved this so that he could go to a NY playoff game. Personally I think this guy shouldn’t be able to go and it’s a joke if he does.
Still amazes me that we are allowing a sporting event to have 6400 people but we can’t allow restaurants to function properly to keep them alive and running and the families of those employed or owning said restaurant with a job and a roof over their head.

Did you guys see how H&R Block and TurboTax customers are getting fucked big time because the IRS sent stimulus money to the 3rd party companies instead of sending it the bank accounts they had on file?
I’ve filed with TurboTax for years, received my first stimulus direct deposit without any issues, I think maybe a day after they said they’d be going out, and now I have still yet to receive my second stimulus payment…and probably won’t see any of the money until I file my 2020 taxes.

Really? I’ve always used H&R Block online but last year ended up using Turbo Tax (H&R Block got really confusing with the tax issues with clearing my mother in law’s estate while Turbo Tax made it super simple) and I’ve received both direct deposits at M&T without issue. The latest one went in on the 4th.
EDIT:
Ok, I see what’s happening. People took those terrible offers to have the fees taken out of their refund (for a fee of course), or get their refund faster (for an even bigger fee). To make that happen the tax companies set up holding accounts where they receive your refund and those holding accounts are only temporary. Congress wanted this stimulus to hit so fast the IRS really didn’t have the option to verify each account so they sent a bunch to closed accounts. I’ve never used any of those gimmicky programs and just had my money direct deposited the old fashioned way and paid Turbotax via credit card.

This is where it gets confusing too, I never did any of those offers with TurboTax.
So the IRS claims that even though I received my first stimulus on time, direct deposit, that doesn’t guarantee that my second payment will be automatic. Either because of TurboTax or because the IRS somehow messed up my information in their system.

The IRS’s solution? “Just file your 2020 taxes and claim the credit then!”
