Another good find, 20K for an 01 Z06 with less than 50k miles. These were seeing the 30+ most of last year. If only I had room
The T/A has been for sale for a while. That guy moves a lot of them. I don’t know what to call “cheap” anymore, but I’m not a buyer at $14.5k.
I think I might be thinking of the WS6, those I see usually around 25-40
^ This for sure. I had a 2007 Camry show up in my FB marketplace feed today, with 257k miles and a blown motor and they wanted $2000.
That’s a damn good deal!
For reference, this exact WS6 sold for $19.5K in 2019
It came up again if anyone wants it…
“Priced accordingly” lol
I must be out of touch. I feel like top condition WS6’s should be around 20k, definitely not north of 25k. But that’s just my useless opinion. I’m still eyeing C6 Z06s around 40k.
Someone find me a cheap LS donor car, I want to swap the Miata and build a motor this summer.
Just get a junkyard 5.3 motor, throw some rod bolts in it and boost it.
I’m anal and looking for an aluminum block only, so if I go the truck motor it’d have to be an L33 or LM4. I’d like to find a good LS1/T56 donor ideally.
That’s Tim’s firebird, he does flip them often but is a good dude.
Best bet is to find an aluminum 5.3L and buy a new t56
Obviously lower power (because race rules), but any considerations for:
- Ecotec (stock trans 160 to 200 wheel)
- VW 5 cylinder (haven’t found info, but audible sound good)
- LX9 w/ T5 (stock 185 wheel / cams + headers 275 wheel) (should be ligther than LSx + T56)
- AJ-V6 / Duratec / MZI V6
LX9 can put down 500 with stock bottom end.
This guys fucking high as balls lmao - “easily wrapped timing kit $500 can be sold for 10 grand on carfax, asking 7500”
Somebody find this guy and t bag him
wtf is this ad, video of a pile of beat up parts next to a dodge ram running… picture of a super clean stealth r/t, then pictures of an absolutely trashed stealth es. Why are people so fucking dumb
edit: oh wait, who knows what vehicle is running, the RAM is just one of the emblems in a pile of parts
one of the worst motors ever to time…and good luck not having vacuum leakes when youre done
That ES is growing roots into the dudes yard.
Ebay of the day…
i have scoured this listing a few times… almost compelling price for that.
there are less than 30 of these in OEM manual trans. they always go for $700k+ from what i have seen.
Manual conversion and Flooded Title.
It’s a gamble but I don’t know shit about the value of these cars.
