if the tranny on the civic is crappy then why did you attempt to do a burnout as you were leaving E’s on saturday? :haha
Because he’s 18 and doesn’t have much to worry about, I’m sure mommy/daddy would make sure he had a way to get around, not saying it’s a bad thing, I hope to be able to provide for my kids in the same way some day. Just saying.
Agree with everything you just said
I’ve got a solution for you joey. I told you more than once I will pay the fees to swap back. The offer still stands. If you want to nit pick the civic then do it. Because there’s a good solution to that problem, trade cars back. There should be no problem with it considering I am offering to pay the dmv fee’s.
And to set the record straight I never once was offered to test drive the car, but that’s impossible to prove.
So how about it joey… You going to resolve this? I’ve fixed the cruise control, as well as the center console and cleaned the entire thing out. I will take my “less than pristine” civic back and you can have the accord back.
clearly code blue is the bigger man here so he gets my siding…joey, just trade them back
I don’t think there’s a smaller man than joey.
(literally, not figuratively)
clearly youre not involved. so let them handle it. :umm
I’m still amazed that you even admitted that the CEL was on 2 days before the trade and that you cleared it right before the deal, and that you think you “thought nothing of it”
It’s not going to get resolved. There is no way Joey is going to trade for the Accord back. It was a shitty thing to do to some one you call a friend but I can’t seem him trading back. But if you do get a tranny I 'm more then happy to put it in for ya
How is he the “Bigger man”?? lol He’s on a public forum complaining about a deal “gone bad”
Sucks for him i guess…
i see asshole of the month award went to good use lol everyone who posted in this thread is technically involved and i was simply posting an opinion…am i still entitled to that right as an american citizen?
well he’s offering to pay even more money to cover both dmv fees bc the accord must be that bad to the point where he wants his “less than pristine” civic back.
From a neutral standpoint:
You knew about the tranny slipping. How is that OK with you ,but the fact that a door doesn’t open from the outside NOT ok? If anything i’d be pissed about the tranny over the door or center console. You traded for a very well used car with 200,000 miles on it. What were you really expecting? It’s all buyers beware when buying something used. It sucks that it had to happen from a member on here but IMO it’s the buyers fault for doing this in the first place.
As for trading back, well, I doubt that will happen. I’d try to fix what you can or just sell it.
In his defense you are pretty egyptian.
:hug thanks budddddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Cool, learn something new every day. I had no idea. I’d assume the seller has to have known about the issue which is the part that is hard to prove.
Not hard to prove, there is a post in this very thread stating the light was on a few days before the swap.
Holy shit, you’re one to talk. Why not stay out of this one?
Whoa this isn’t about Travis for once…lets make a new thread for that
:nod
