Hoping the fans are OK and there are no serious injuries, that was insane. However it does show how well the safety features NASCAR uses really do work, considering he got out of the car (what was left anyway) like nothing happened.

CNN reported 14 taken to hospital and another 14 treated at the on-site medical facility, didn’t say anything about any deaths. But one of the 14 that went to the hospital needed immediate surgery.
