Its very solid feeling. Looks like plastic but its all aluminum.

I have/had one on all my cars, however, there is a massive decrease in any type of radio capability, volume and signal is much shittier

This one works good. Reception is 80-90% of what it used to be as well as volume. Not a big deal since I rarely listen to the radio anyway.
The way your car sounds, I wouldn’t even have a radio in there.
