Well, my goal of no drama or BS was achieved. Here are the videos from todays runs:
As you can see, both races were pretty close. My car ended up having just enough in it to stay ahead of the Viper.
Both runs were on Highway XXX - and went from around ~ 35-140MPH
It was a nice cool evening & both cars were running great

i wouldnt really say u beat him but w.e seemed pretty dead even, just whoever got the jump at the getgo

Yup - it was pretty damn close. I guess it looked different in person then the angle of the camera makes it seem like - especially the first run.
I just posted greater than cause my car was ahead both times :gotme:

Whatever - its all for fun anyways. Iâm just happy that I can hang with a modded GTS Viper.
I got in a short pull on the thruway with a Viper (not a GTS model) earlier this year when I first put my car back on the road. Donât know who it was - but it must have been fairly stock - cause I put a quick couple cars on it in a fairly short distance.

Good race. You have a very fast LT1. Dyno tune that beast and it will be even faster.
bah, lol at the fast 3rd beep. I think joeetypes has that beep patented?? you should check with him before using his methods to win races. :lol: I kid, I kid. Very close races. those are always the fun ones because thats when almost everything and anything can make the difference in the outcome.

I know - I suck:mamoru: . lol - I was talkin about that with a friend right after the race. Iâve only raced my car a few times with the new manual tranny.
I realize I could be a lot faster - and will be in the future. Iâm being WAY too conservative right now. I guess I would rather loose a bit of ground during my âgrannyâ shifts - rather than missing a gear and definitely loosing close races because of it.
But I know I gotta work on itâŚ
