Crazyz250's Boosted 30r prelude

First coat of bondo/rough sand.

I used fast and firm 3M seam sealer for all seams.

Also decided to get ride of abs and hide brake lines behind firewall.

looks like my last bondo job …

ehhh… nothing was that bad.

good point

Looks good brian!

Brian you got it all wrong, Bondo goes on the back of hondas

^ :lol

hahahaha

just make sure your applying the bondo to a well prepped area. one that has been sanded with a low grit paper to give it a good bite. you dont want the bondo to lift with heat and vibration. Not trying to be a dick, just see yur putting in alot of work and dont want you to be disapointed. body work is a lot of steps and if the first is not done right it all goes to hell. Also dont put the filler on blue metal( the areas were the color of the steel is turned do to heat from welding) you need to hit it with a grung disk or grinder till its all fresh steel color. the filler often lifts if applied to blue metal. the only places this really matters is in engine bays, bc the heat and vibrations… hope i helped.

Good info Brooks

+1!

yeah good info. I only really applied it to places i welded. All holes were filled with weld and grinded down and bondo ontop to smoothen it out. There may be a few spots that wernt hit with the grinder but for the most part i got it covered. I know of one spot that had a blue tint to it and im going to go back and re-do that never knew bondo wouldnt like that

Before bondo

Nah its just tedious stuff at this point lol. You see it yet? I threw a quick coat of primer on the p/s to see what it still needs.

I got the propane tank filled today and that heater still doesnt work!!!

yeah that trans mount is gonna be alot of sandin! Im surprised that heater isnt workin… fuckin wierd.
