Credit Card

I need a new one… this will be my 2nd one… first one i never user and doesnt have the greatest limit…

i need one for about $2500 for some stuff…

any one know a good card to go with?

Amex
Probably won’t get much of a limit since you don’t have much of a history though.

dont charge something until you have the money.

truth

^^ word.

wow she is smart, who knew :teeeheheeeee:

the problems with your car speak otherwise…

get something with a no interest intro rate

amex blue is nice for 12 months

Good point. I have 2 credit cards and I pay them off entirely, every month.

M&T Checkcard…cant charge it if i dont have the cash

i could pay the thing off in like 2 months max, i just have a problem holding on to money when i got it…

Not good for building credit, but  for keeping it managed.

This has got to be some kind of oxymoron

can it wait 2 months when you have the money? honestly dude… 2,500 may not seem like a lot to pay off…but… it would take you years if your paying 50 bucks a month or something.

I never charge unless i know i can pay it off when the bill comes, and they always come sooo fast…

you are scriiizewed if you can’t “hold onto money” but you think you can manage credit card debt.

that is not the issue… i am saying ok i have a criedit card payment… ok i will pay it no problem…

but if i try to SAVE money… like put it aside… forget about it… i will spend it quick .

Amen to that.

Also, from what I understand credit cards don’t really build your credit score, it’s the long term loans like car loans, mortgage, even personal loans that do it.

Edit: If you want another card, check out citicards.com . They treat me well.

its not worth it man…debt sucks. i’m assuming this is for car parts? and you mentioned you really didn’t want to drive your car thru winter right? just buy a cheap winter bomb, and then you can just buy this stuff over winter with cash.

kill two birds with one stone, no going into debt and no driving your car thru winter.

if i went this route i would be driving the car, in the winter.

YOU’RE WRONG, totally

X…

yea but i thought u DIDN’T want to drive it in the winter?

Err? I talked to a loan officer and everything - keeping a small-ish balance over a couple months = better way to build credit.

I don’t mean that keeping zero balances is BAD, i’m just saying there’s better ways of building credit, faster.
