Cricket screwed me

I paid my Cricket bill today over the phone okay.

The charge was 100.93, Paid, DONE! So then I Called in another payment to another bill and it said declined. I’m like WTF.

So I called my Credit card company and they said, Cricket took out TWO payments of $117.93 + $16.93 And I was LIKE WTF, I never told Anyone to take that out, And i wanted to be stopped. So I called cricket and they say Nope, Not us, We only took out the $100.93

So what do I do?

fax them your bank statement?

dispute the charge?

i dont get them, im on the phne with the cc comp now and they say the $33. will be credited to my account in a week or so, I’m pissed. No where in my aggreement does it say they take out an aditinal $33 to make sure I have money in my account to pay bills.

i work hard for that money.

I’m having trouble following this. First it was two payments of 117 and 16, now you’re talking about a 33 dollar difference? How did the $266 discrepency turn into $33?

If it is in fact an un authorized charge, tell cricket that if they dont provide reason for it and clear it up, you will file a charge back. Most sales/customer service reps hate that word. Make sure you also have your bills from them and your payments in your account to prove if they decide to fight you.

Also, make sure that they did not just take out a hold amount. Some bars do it if its a debt card to confirm that your account is still active and has money in it. It usually clears in a few days and will put it back.

Yeah, I don’t follow it either.

What I really don’t follow is how you rang up a >100 dollar bill on ghetto cricket.

The point of cricket is to have unlimited minutes and like a 40 dollar bill with no contract, am I right?

My sprint sero bill with the citibank employee discount is 26 bucks a month including all taxes.

I think he means 2 payments total.
1st was for $117.93 & 2nd for $16.93
which his bill is $100.93.
This equals $33.93 over payed to cricket

That main problem is that you use Cricket

For some people, cricket is a good idea.

To each his own. I’m not knocking it at all.

If you live in the buffalo area, and you don’t travel much, and just want a local phone with unlimited calling, and a predictable bill, it might be for you.

Its a better deal than prepaid, and some folks love the no contract element of it.

Its good for younger people with no credit, or people with shitty credit, as they couldn’t even qualify for a phone contract (or the phone carrier would make them pay a huge fee before the subsidized a phone to you).

For myself, I get a new sprint phone every two years, take the 150 dollar credit, and get pretty much a free phone, and have a predictable bill.

People say sprints coverage sucks, thats fine, but when roaming is included in your plan (which mine is), then you roam on the verizon network.

And if you can’t get service on the verizon network, then you are in the middle of nowhere.

yeap, thats what i ment

I have a Sprint phone also, but it has minutes and it’s for work only. there for I don’t use it. Cricket was what My wife wanted for home use. So she has a cricket phone as well as myself. But for me doing this for the first time “Paying over the phone” I think it’s bull shit! I worked for that money and for them to take it and say You’ll see it in 7 days just isnt right to me! “Yeah it’s a debit card, One of them PayChex visa payroll cards”. Some ppl make enough to say yeah thats kewl, But for me, thats just BULL!

I know what ya mean. I paid three month so far for my DSL, And they said I didn’t!

Then I LOVE when they tell ya to call corp. offices that have ONLY a long distance number and Ya dont have long distance service.
