modding a focus, is no different then modding a eclipse, a civic or any other 4 banger economy grocery getter.

An eclipse gst/gsx was built as a stock from the factory turbocharged sports car… sports cars are normally modded… I would say your right about the Civic end of it, but there are just way too many civics being built/modded… A focus imo is a 100% flat out grocery getter as you said.
in Europe they have a factory turbo Focus and I think it might be available with awd
I believe there was a time you could get the SVT focus from the factory with a upgraded roots blower package, maybe im wrong.
but a FWD gst is no different then a turbo civic IMO or a boosted focus.
Svt had a nitrous option . No blower of f/I I don’t think anyway .
there might have been a Ford racing one that was a dealer add on like Toyota has with the TRD blower but I really dont remember.

I remember a moron I used to work with having an SVT Focus and he talked about it like it was the fastest car ever made. Then the fat dumb fuck got it repoed.
His mother had a v6 Mustang that had 700 hp according to him and his stepfather because it had dual exhaust and a chip. Supposedly it couldve beaten my Mustang easily.
I was kinda talking about the USA and if there was a factory blower option focus, I didnt know. Im talking about the plain jane 130 crank hp focus which I believe the kid has? Even the svt isnt anything to brag about at 170 crank but at least its a bit better… The difference between a gst and a civic is a gst comes factory turbod and built with performance in mind, A civic wasnt.
I think they made a Cavalier with a factory supercharger as well. Quick little car

I have one of those guys in my platoon haha told me that his built 1996 civic ( which didnt exist) had a twin turbo and it would beat my uncles Jack Roush like it was standing still.
Those came standard with a blower, yeah, but there was an option on the order list for the 3rd gen Cavalier to add a supercharger through GM Accessories.
What roush car? I would take last years stage 3 over a shelby, they made more power but couldn’t put it on the sticker, such a sick car.
its an 07 Roush Mustang, and he just told me yesterday that his father just dynoed his care for him and its putting out 800whp…96 civic with twin turbo not a chance, he says the turbo and an exhaust is all hes done hahahaha

gotcha, read it wrong i guess, BUT if the civic has a B series, and a basic turbo setup…call it maybe 350 whp if its a gsr and the kid knows what parts to bolt on, then i could def see the civ beating the roush tbh. but the kid sounds like an idiot
