anybody wanna see some cool pics of the aftermath when everything was said and done?
i live right here and the end result was the entire shoreline turning into one gigantic 10-20 high glacier that extends out about 750-1000 feet from the shoreline
the house that had hundred pound ice chunks thrown in through the windows
the lake, this is all 100% solid ice, not a single bit of snow. 30 feet high in some spots
these caverns were hollow i found out
this hole goes throguh to the water underneath, needless to say, i didnt stay long
the boating dock
the old boating dock house (was picked up and tossed about 100 feet and tossed on the other side of the dock parking lot)
standing on the egde of the glacier, didnt wanna go any closer cuz i wouldnt be getting out
thickness of some pieces of ice
in the bckground is our beach pier
people swim out to it and climb up it to jump off into the lake, the drop to the water is about 20-25 feet
the ice is almost as hgih as it in its low spots
