Crystalline window tint

A new product from 3M that blocks heat a lot better than normal tint and actually comes in clear as well (probably for windshields).

[FONT=Arial]“Crystalline represents a high-technology window film choice that serves as a smart investment. Nanotechnology works with materials over a thousand times smaller that the width of a hair. This patented technology blocks up to 97% Infrared radiation and 99% Ultraviolet light that is SPF 1700+.”

From what I have read its not cheap but should be interesting if it catches any traction. I might throw it on my windshield.

what size rolls can you get?

PM me a price for say a roll of 50% say 24"x25’

right now distribution from 3m is crazy, demand is high and volume is low.
Sounds like they might send a test roll to play with. If I can get prices I will let you know.

what is cost on this stuff

+1. These guys did an amazing job on my windows and were absurdly cheap.

The other major improvement is that they do not use metal in the film and are not highly reflective (ie better cell phone reception).
