Custom PC: i7/Xenon W3520, 24GB DDR3, 6x160gb HDD's, 850w PSU, etc

After having the parts here for a while, I finally decided to build something with them. Turns out, I still have no use for a desktop.

The thing’s quick. Has plenty of room to grow if you decide to put money into it.

Parts:

Motherboard: MSI Pro-E x58
Processor: Intel Xeon W3520. Clocked at 4.3ghz with HT enabled
Ram: 24GB DDR3-1333.
Graphics: Nvidia 7600gs Nothing special and should be upgraded if you want to play new games. Plays portal/2 without issues....
HDD's: 6 Drive Raid-0 array (6x160GB drives) This is how its configured now. I can easily change the config up for redunancy incase a drive goes, or if you want to buy/provide a larger drive I can install that too.
PSU: 850 Watt Cooler Master Silent Pro
Case: Lian-Li/Rocketfish case. This thing is massive, but is amazing for cooling/air flow. Also has plenty of room for any graphics card you want.
Additional: HD TV Tuner (CATV, ASTV, and Svideo input)
OS: Either Win7 or Win8, your call. Personally I'd go Win8 but thats just me.

I’ve had it OC’ed at 3.5ghz with no issues, or desire to go higher even though it has lots left in it.
The graphcs card could be upgraded, and the HDD’s could be replaced with SSD’s however, I think i would rather go a dedicated NAS route with an older pc or something.

I’d like 575$ picked up in Lockport for this. If its bought soon, i might go less or deliver it for free.

Pics will be up later. Post, pm, or text me at 7163435166.

Bump. Make an offer guys…this is not doign me any good sitting no my dining room table.

Holy shit that’s a decent setup for a killer price! Glws man, I’m having a hard time selling my computers idk why…

Lets bump this up…getting sick of moving this thing around!

I’ll also get some pics later tonight. forgot about them

How many PCI/PCIe slots?

heres the link to the motherboard. http://www.msi.com/product/mb/X58-Pro-E.html

I know its tri sli and tri crossfire, 2 pcie 1x, 1 PCI

Also, the graphics card has been ‘upgraded’. and by that, i mean i had the wrong model before. I’ve updated the first post, and its still old. but its a 7600gs with 256mb dedicated.

I honestly can’t believe this computer is still for sale, it’s a wicked setup for a wicked price! It’s a tough market for a computer right now and kno one has money… Glws dude I’m texting this to a buddy now see if he’s interested.

Heres a shot of the inside. The only difference between this and now, is the side exhaust fan is in place. (i can get a pic if you’d like, but it fits between the pci-e slots, and blows out of the back of the case, not the side). As you can see, plenty of room for anything you can imagine, even a complete internal watercooling setup if you really want to get extreme with the overclocks.

I’m surprised as well, but - i know in the summertime i dont spend much time indoors, which is mainly why i’m ok with getting rid of it. Winter time, i could probably do something with it but for now, its sitting in my basement ‘office’ powered on with some media shares. Someone should grab this soon though…you absolutely won’t be dissapointed, and will be good for a loooooonnnnggggg time (as long as you dont care about power consumption)

There is also 1 esata port free, and 1 more internal sata port.

SOLD,thanks buddy

i still have the desk top from like 4 years ago, good seller

Thank me too! What the hey!
