Cylinder Head Damage ...

I bought an H23 head off someone on HT and it got ruined during shipping. The idiot didnt pack everything right and the baggies full of bolts broke open and they ended up under the head. The bottom of it has a few decent marks in it and there’s even a small portion of the combustion chamber missing. I’m just curious if it’s worth fixing (if it’s able to be fixed) or if I should just try to pick up another head for a decent price. Here’s some pics, sorry they are kind of blurry. I can take better ones if that’ll help but … let me know what you guys think I should do …

hmmm

well, I doubt he would refund it.
I think you best bet it just trying to get it repaired.

yeah I dont expect him to refund it. I was just wondering if you guys thought it would be able to repaired or if I need to get a new casting or another complete head

take it to GW(you know who that is) and talk to bob or whatever too see what he thinks.

See if there was any insurance on the package. Otherwise I would say take it to a shop and see what they say.
