So it turns out I have a cracked sleeve on cyl 4…so my options are look for a built z6 and just put that in or get my block re sleeved…so if you have a built or stock d16z6 series laying around let me know asap guys …Thanks!

You might as well part out your engine and go bseries/some other route
you’re going to need to bore your block again, get everything reassembled
over 750$ depending where you get it done… + the expense of the motor
or sleeving would be 1k plus, the machine work to bore/assemble

i have a complete d16y8. all it need is a dizzy. looking to get 500 obo new oem exedy clutch, fidanza flywheel, all timing and water pump replace. 100% complete swap
who said i was on a basemap? and nvm i have a spair motor and trans for just this occasion but i was looking for one already pre assembled.
and the reason the sleeve cracked is because who ever built the motor (built it loose) and the piston had play to slap back and for between cycles…this is no way my fault FYI
i seriously doubt that is the reason the sleave is cracked, i saw all his specs and helped him set it up, i would still like pictures of the piston sidewalls and the cracked bore
keep the D you already have everything you need anyways, what do you plan on doing for pistons etc?
im just buying a new block and and swapping everything over after the bore is done…

i boosted all last year on a basemap but everyone who knows me i dont just drive around boosting everywhere i go i only boost when someone deserves to get passed or at the track really…
i see you bought the car from earls buddy matt…ive heard nothing but good things from the build…and from what ive heard and seen on honda tech his engine management was far from a basemap…
yea…so anyone have a block sittin in there shop i really would like to put my car back together and be done with this…
ive got a z6 block sitting in the back of my truck…i got it from draftinwitjr until i got a new z6 from a kid around my city…
you dont want a y8, they have oiling problems.
