I dunno what i want to get … i wanna get and 01 up eclipse gt … or i wanna get and 01 up GTi vr6 or 1.8T what would you guys go for ? reasons? fixing up… possibly boosting

3rd gen eclipse are junk, VR6.

I would go with the 1.8t or Vr6…

But… I am biased because I own a 1.8t… I love it and with 102000 miles I have NEVER had problems with it. It runs like new… (its a 2002)

well either of the VW, 1.8 is cheaper to make quicker

but the 24v vr6 responds well to mods

a boosted vr6 is going to run extremely good… my old 98 gti vr6 on boost was rediculous

just dont put a euro turbo kit on it w/o the euro front bumper!!!

We have a GTI with VR6 and a bunch of mods done to it out at our store. Its a ton of fun to drive, and sounds beautiful.
