both are in the same price range. not sure which one I want though
I kinda like the fact of the leather with the 1.8T, but then again the VR6 engine is nice too.

if your gonna modd the engine go with 1.8t…if its going to stay mostly stock with minor bolt ons go with the vr6

it’s the good turbo… same as mine… i believe it might be rated at 150 because stock boost is .6 bar whereas my stock boost was .8… with a chip they are all equal.
it’s an aww engine code, has variable cam timing for startup and a lower compression ratio than the others. generally all 1.8t’s are the same except the 2000’s with the even smaller ko3 turdbo
Tan interiors suck. they look good when clean though. 1.8T if you want to mod it. VR6 if you want to keep it mostly stock. But I voted VR6 cause it sounds so good + recaro seats are the shizzzy. PS vr6 sucks gas.
i think the 6 speed on the vr6 will help with gas, i called the dealership with the 1.8T. he is going to see what kind of deal he can work me. if he drops it significantly then i will go with that. I know with a chip i am right around 200 just wanted to make sure that it was the “good” engine
