Scanlon’s

/thread

No rating? That’s a little scary.
Paul’s on Niagara Falls Blvd should be able to help you.

you can always send the stone to GIA and get a cert for it.

The problem is when you go to get it appraised person A will tell you its a Vs1 F, person B will say its an Si1 H, and person C will say its an Si2 G

When GIA certifies the stone a group of people look at the stone I think its like 5 or so and they all have to individually come up with the same grading this is why GIA > *

Did you buy it yet?

Andrew’s Jewelers on transit… good people

it was bought from a friend, i have the receipt that he bought with it… he never gave it to his GF… but he doenst have the cert… it was bought out of state from a small jewler… on the recipet is the clarity/color/size of the stone, but i just want to confirm… its looks great to me… no color and no inclusions that i can see

:mamoru:

did you at least look at it with a loop?

+1 I don’t want to think about how many thousands of my dollars got turned into diamond and platinum there. Good people though. They’ll let you down easy.

I agree

I had good luck with Scanlons, its nice to have a place local to go to when you have the ring sized and buy the wedding band.

yep… no inclusions i could see… but then again… i really didnt know what to look for… just was looking for the normal carbon… couldnt spot any feathering or cloudyness…

I’m not a fan of Todd, but he knows his shit. And he’s got some good jewelers there. My friend Jeff is on of the designers they have and makes all my stuff. (And drives a sweet A5)

It’s worth a few Africans. :frowning:
