I agree claiming the money is absurd. I heard you can also opt for $15 worth of product instead of $10 cash. INB4 a ton of poor people jump to get $15 worth of red bull free.

When growing up, I thought nothing was cooler than being able to wear a Red Bull helmet. Either riding BMX, or snowboarding, that’s all I wanted to do. Red Bull has put so many sports on the map when sponsorship was nowhere to be found. No one wanted to take that risk. Who in the right mind would sponsor freeride bikers hucking themselves off a 60 foot rock face with maybe 10% chance of riding away?? They have been growing the action sports scene since the beginning.

This lawsuit is sad to see. Taking money from a business that focuses on the progression of our capabilities as humans.Also, Red Bull sponsored the “Butter Cup” right in front of City Hall. Such a cool event that allowed us to wham some rails and boxes right in the city.

From what I read on the legal disclaimer thing, It will be ruled on next year. So in that case, this may not even be a thing. Or like every other class action suit, you’ll be able to claim 3cents.

3. Why is there a settlement?
The Court has not decided in favor of Plaintiffs or Red Bull. There have been no decisions by the Court concerning the merits of Plaintiffs’ claims or the propriety of the class action mechanism, nor has there been any trial. Instead, Plaintiffs and Defendant negotiated and ultimately agreed to this settlement after counsel for all parties extensively evaluated the facts and law relating to this case, and took into account a variety of factors such as the burdens and expense of the lawsuit, the risk and uncertainty of litigation, the difficulties and delays inherent in such litigation, and the benefits available to the Settlement Class under the Stipulation. Plaintiffs and their attorneys believe that the settlement is in the best interest of the Settlement Class Members.

. When will I get my payment?
The Court will hold a hearing on May 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. to decide whether to finally approve the settlement. If the Court approves the settlement, after that there may be appeals. Payments will be distributed within 150 days after the Court grants final approval of the settlement, pending any appeals. Cash reimbursement in the form of a check or will be made directly to you by first class mail after entitlement to payment to all Claimants is determined. Red Bull products fulfilling the Product Option will be shipped directly to Claimants selecting the Product Option after entitlement to payment to all Claimants is determined via a shipping method to be determined by Red Bull at its discretion. Please be patient. However, if shipment of Red Bull products to a particular Settlement Class Member is not feasible or commercially reasonable then Red Bull may substitute cash reimbursement for that particular Settlement Class Member.
