For the record I’m not condoning the lawsuit, I think it’s absurd our legal system even entertained the case much less issued a reward for retardation. How do cases like this even get through, shouldn’t there be a screening process manned by folks with at least half a brain?

hire in-house legal counsel to establish a budget for additional legal expenses used to drive the legal expenses of target firms who then need to hire additional counsel to oversee their legal expenses… then set the system up to encourage more and more litigation. weeeeeeee

yup. problem is that so much of it is legit and absolutely necessary for a properly functioning economy / society. there’s just the newsbite stuff out there that maybe makes up only 10% of it all.
