there was a cop that was interviewed on the news a week or so about that . my friend knows him because he installed a remote starter on his car. things must be a little slow in the law enforcement world to be worried about something like this.

no no no, you guys have it all wrong. When using a remote car starter, (atleast my explorer was this way) as soon as you get in the car, after it is started, and touch the brake without putting the key in the ignition, it kills the engine. Therefore, you can not drive the vehicle until the keys are in the ignition. Therefore, it is not a hazard. Geeeze thought you guys would have figured that one out by yourselfs LOL

its probably brought up now because of that 300C crashing through the guys garage after he stopped at home. he left the car running and it put itself into gear.
