:word: Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens are all part of NYC too. A lot of “minorities” who usually vote Dem.
did anyone see this?.. http://taxcut.barackobama.com/
n Philadelphia, FOX News’ Rick Leventhal received a report from Republican poll watcher Chris Hill that two Black Panthers had stationed themselves at the door to a polling station and were intimidating voters. One held a nightstick, Hill said.
Hill told FOX News that he went to talk to the men, and they told him white power didn’t rule there.

Three of the state’s 2,349 polling stations opened late, two due to human error. One, at a library in Richmond, opened 25 minutes late because the librarian with the keys to the building overslept.
 Of all days to forget to set your alarm.
nope and not planning on it, for a few reasons.
i hate politics…don’t know much about it but the little i do know is nothing but a joke, and i don’t have the time or desire to ever bother becoming educated enough on it all. Also, NYS has such a history of voting so drastically democratic that there’s no point in voting.
the only reason i would vote is because i’ve been raised in a house/around a family and extended family of NRA members…which would cause me to dislike obama and his running mate and their desire to get rid of the right to bare arms…but as already stated NYS is so democratic that i’m not gonna waste my time voting republican to just have my vote accomplish nothing in the end anyway.
oh, and like Jay said…fuck your rules for this thread.
“bear” arms
and that is one of the LAST things on the agenda, just like abortion.
what’s the big deal about this anyway lol? hunting with a bow & arrow too tough? still afraid someone’s gonna invade the US and we’re gonna have to fire up the good ol militia?
i admit, firing an AK at the range is pretty fun haha
I’m glad your car blew up.
Fuck my rules… fuck your car.
no one in my family even hunts, leisure shooting is a fucking blast. plus having guns all over your house is manly as fuck. on a much lesser important note, it’s just comforting knowing nobody can break into my house with any more firepower than i have waiting for them…
that may be, like you say, way down on the list of priorities for obama, but it’s on his list nonetheless…and since i don’t pay attention to politics enough to know more about his agenda, i’m gonna go with what i already know.
i just think it’s bullshit how soooooooo many people think we need more gun control…when all gun control will do is stop people that actually register, get background checks, etc from getting guns…and will do little to nothing to stop the hoodlums from illegally purchasing unregistered guns off the street…which i’m sure are the majority of the ones that are used in illegal activities.
me too…i’ve been a lot better off without it…less time fixing shit, less money thrown into parts, and instead of 15MPG, 35-45MPG all summer on the bike or now in the honda…
fuck the Z…and fuck your thread.
Andy, I see where you’re coming from, but picking between Obama and McCain based on gun rights is like choosing between a GTR and a Maxima based on cupholder quality. Sure, one may be more in line with what you want in that particular area, but there’s a lot more big picture stuff that seperates the two of them.
Unfortunately I can’t, I just moved again and missed the registration date in NC.
I also want to add, I was at the state fair here in Raleigh last week. The conversations I heard everywhere went sometime like this…
How cud ya vote for a nigga be an american!!! That there McCain seems like an afully nice fella now he’s a true american!
I’m typically ignorant to the under educated for the simple fact of well I’m not Just Karter. It was definitely an eye opener of what racism can cause in regards to this. So I decided to walk over (I know Panama was considered a US territory) just to let them know hey guys McCain wasn’t born in America, he was born in Panama.
(nothing against McCain being born in Panama as his family was down there helping out the us, just said to get a reaction)
Once again I did this just to see their reaction, they had no idea and proceeded to sit there and scratch their head. I asked them why they wanted to vote for McCain and once again the response I got well he seems like a nice guy.
The other conversations I heard which this time coming from black people anywhere we walked.(I didn’t bother to ask questions I knew the answer for) All we heard was them talking about Obama, also stating this is the first time they have ever voted.
Racism, a new form of Voting 08’
if you read my first post in this thread…you’ll see me clearly state that i’m not voting, and i also admit immediately to not being knowledgeable on politics at all, nor having any desire to become enlightened. so don’t worry, this is one less uneducated vote you have to worry about swinging the polls.
I voted on 10/27. I love early voting.
Awww you didn’t want to be like the cool kids and vote for Obama
VOTED for the first time today. Woot. Feel good…
ill be voting whenever i can get home tonight!
Also just curious, anyone in the military that isn’t voting for McCain?
Me…
That’s a rarity from what I’ve come across.
Care to explain why?
