Here it is folks: Judgement Day. Lets see what the last 2 years of mind numbing bickering, bantering, smearing, and bullshitting gets us. Are we going Republican or Democrat? Pretend capitalist or pretend socialist? Old Guard or New World Order? Vanilla or Chocolate?
Obama wins the first town?
Barack Obama came up a big winner in the presidential race in Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location, N.H., where tradition of having the first Election Day ballots tallied lives on.
Democrat Obama defeated Republican John McCain by a count of 15 to 6 in Dixville Notch, where a loud whoop accompanied the announcement in Tuesday’s first minutes.
2 years? Who are you kidding? This race has been going on since the day Bush won his 2nd term.
I’m just glad that after today the robo-calls will stop. I got 5 on Saturday and 6 yesterday. Surprisingly I got none on Sunday. I guess even the godless democrats considering calling on Sunday a no-no.
I’m curious how the record turnout and long lines may affect the election. The worst lines are going to be in your high density population areas, and those are your democrat strongholds. Voting in Williamsville today I walked in, signed my name, waited for the one person in the booth ahead of me to leave, and was done. Total time < 5 minutes.
Funny aside, the woman in the booth looked a lot like Palin. Hot milf, red suit, glasses, similar hair with daughter in tow. IB4 voter fraud.
EDIT: On a side note I have told every employee they can leave during the day today to vote and that I expect all of them to do so because there is no excuse not to.
I’m in for that. although I rarely drink a nice glass of Crown and Ice would be good to celebrate with…
EDIT: I love the avatar idea… I think no matter what that would be hilarious. On top of that the loser has to start a thread saying how great the winner is.
Dixville Notch is traditionally Republican, and hasn’t voted for a Democrat since Humphrey in '68. Tonight they voted for Senator Barack Obama in a 15-6 margin!
