Dinan/Vortec Stage 1 Supercharger System E36 M3 (95 OBD1)

Well I originally posted my Dinan/Vortech blower kit for my 95 M3 but as of late I have decided to just sell the entire swap out of the car so I can focus on my LS1 swap instead.

So here’s the deal, I am selling the entire supercharged swap out of my 95 M3 coupe. That includes everything to have a turn key swap, from engine harness back to the drive shaft. The motor does need a head gasket but i believe I have it priced very fairly for a complete turn key swap including the Dinan kit.

I personally put about ~15k miles on this setup in 5 months driving back and forth from Washington DC to Rochester around 10 times round trip. This always started and never gave me any problems at all…until the headgasket started to let go, but it still made it back to Rochester, only overheating slightly once which I pulled over immediately and did my best to bleed it on the side of the road and then made it the last 3 hours without overheating again.

I have a complete genuine Dinan stage one blower kit for an E36 M3 with the s50 motor (95 model year). The kit includes everything needed to run on your vehicle and add another 100HP. I took my car to the 1/4 one time with this kit and ran a best of 13.4@~106

Everything is currently installed in the vehicle so you can see everything works as it should, but will be removed after Christmas when I have some spare time. I love driving this car and it moves with Dinan kit (walks my friends 99 M3) but i need to fund my LS1 swap and get new coilovers so the swap needs to go to prevent it from distracting me!

Motor: S50 3.0 M3 swap (Needs Headgasket)
New OEM Waterpump (10K ago)
New Duralast 175 degree thermostat (10K ago)
Stage 2 Clutch (from what I understand, honestly haven’t checked myself but it seems to engage much harder than my friends stock clutch)
Dinan stage 1 supercharged
Complete engine harness/DME included

Trans: ZF 5 speed trans
Factory Shifter
Momo Leather weighted shift knob
No grinds or noises, shifts smooth
Factory Driveshaft included

Thats all I can think of off hand but this kit was put on by the previous owner new from Dinan. Unknown miles since install but the blower doesn’t have any bearing noise and everything works as it should. This is a longshot but I am also willing to trade for a complete Vorshlag E36 LS1 swap kit…Straight up for the Dinan kit or plus cash on your end for the entire swap.

NEW UPDATE:I am now selling the entire running s50/ZF 5spd swap (in need of headgasket), I was originally going to hang on to it and rebuild it for another car, but it will just distract me from the LS1 swap.
Just a quick rundown on the swap (everything has ~160k but ran great) which i daily drove up until November when i parked it at my house for the winter:

more details on the LS1? where’d you source it, and you going T56 i assume?

I got it from a guy down here in DC, Its just a stock LS1 from a 98 Camaro SS with Aeromotive fuel rails on it…has a bad bearing so i got it pretty cheap including a Painless harness and stand alone computer and some other extra bull shit along with it. Yup I’m definitely going with a T56, I’ll probably wait until after i buy the Vorshlag kit to get the trans though. I’m excited to get it rolling, it will be a whole new beast after!

Price drop for everything, I’m going to start pulling the motor this week so if anyone is interested and wants to see it run before it gets pulled hit me up.

$2500 for the supercharger kit alone
