i can imagine that the type of pressure required for steel pipe would be a whole shit ton, especially if you tont have any real leverage on a short pipe… or a straight section

i understand you coudl do it that way… but practically if you do that the bead will look like it was stiched together and not flow all the way through as the angles may change unless you are really careul… i think the strap wrech would work ok
does he maybe turn the wheel using that bolt and spin the pipe at the same time??
The idea is simple…his end design sucks, I love the one we have it was made perfectly for intercooler piping. I see a problem with his of first off the actual spining of the tubing, trust me its a bitch with the geared crank set up we got. Second it rolls the bead to far in making the need to either cut off the excess/more work or get longer couplers for more money.
