Just a crappy cad image:
It’s already constructed, but i have no pics. Uses a modified hass downpipe. The odd thing over to the left is an e cut-out like this:
I was going for max flow when the cutout is opened, and reasonable sound deadening when closed. Good flow for the “closed” position was not a concern. No cat. Using spark plug shims. Made it myself. Mild steel, painted black. GM 3 bolt flanges. Weighs less than stock, but i don’t know how much. Piping is 3" Muffler is actually a 2.5" hooker unit with the inlet and outlet inserted INSIDE 3" pipe. Figured it’s just a bit more flow restriction for lowering sound.
Fits like this except the tips are out to the sides more, near where the reflectors are:
as opposed to stock:
Sounds pretty bad ass. The turbo fucking sings when it’s open… I may actually mount the liscense plate right on the muffler so that it looks something like this:
but again, tips out much further, no reflectors.
I’ll post pics and vids after carlisle…
