always good stuff
Nice job
Sweet as hell -
i love you
nice
why couldnt you use a laquer made for bartops for this? that stuff is rock hard and doesnt scratch for shit
thats awesome
The table’s design is elegant.
If I ever get a chance to meet you, beer’s on me. I wanna hear about your C-130 experience too. Bang-up job holmes
the polyeurathane epoxy has almost identical cured properties to a lacquer. The epoxy is not easy to scratch. I made a set of tables for a friend over 2 years ago and the scratches are minimal. We’re talking something similar to spider webbing on a clear coat.
1 day old:
no problems and over 2 years old:
the biggest difference is UV protection, lacqures yellow over time and it’s more difficult to see this over wood. Over the stainless…yellowing is a lot easier to see.
simple answer: My choice through experience.
Josh,
Willing to make pieces to sell or do you not want 10,000 orders for custom shit?
That’s pretty damn cool. Good job
josh has SUPERB style
well done bro
looks like shit.
but yeah. that is pretty awesome.
haha, i tried that already and failed miserably since i was of no value to the fabrication process. I’m better off leaving it as a “hobby”. Besides, i’ve got too many other things on my plate as it is.
I did make a set of tables for a Buffalo Bill a few months ago… he paid $4K for the set and loves them.
Very nice work, as always.
What was the approx. final thickness of the epoxy over the stainless and top frame?
lol everyone is jealous of your skills. I know I am.
Thanks all
about 1/8" - 3/16"
pure secks
I like it sorta, I mean its Excellent work but I would have went with a better color then black, maybe a copper top would have looked nicer, these are just my opinions and I know you did them to match your stuff. Excellent craftsmanship though A+++++
good stuff. if you need that epoxy in a pinch i stock it, just let me know. and epoxy is a much better choice than conversion varnish used on bar tops for sooo many reasons.
