Thinking about buying these used turbos to fix a car I own.
What do you think of the condition?
I have no idea what to look for in regards to turbo health. They have no shaft play and all the blades are in good shape.
other than what you mentioned, check the housings for cracks. I don’t see any, but I didn’t look terribly closely. Many turbos tend to crack housings near the wastegate flap.
i honestly don’t like how soaked with oil that exhaust is.
how many miles on them, if it was me i would be scared to buy something with higher miles just for the simple fact i wouldnt want to do the job twice

no way to tell unless you look at them first hand
check for oil in the compressor and turbine housings, check for play, check for cracks
if all those are good you should be fine, they just look dirty
I have a good pair I could let go cheap.
Of k03’s from an s4?
Yes. Good K03’s from an 2001 S4 with about 40K on them on stock boost. They are pretty mint.
