Nope, graduated in 05. Should have waited till spring of 06 to finish off my accounting degree…still kick myself for that one.

that undergraduate college level category covers a lot of ground. Anywhere from “I took macro at ECC” to “B.S from Harvard in economics”

lol yeah, but I get to see my name at the top of the list even though I got B’s in remedial economics for managers.
Oh well. This kind of fuels my thought that economics as a whole is a very immature science. I.E. you and ecoshardcore both are well educated and have similar backgrounds yet have such differing views on how to apply the academics to reality.
Oh well, lets see how the next 4 years unfold…
It’s like engineering to the point that there’s a million ways to design something, but some designs fail immediately, some start out OK then you find horrible defects awhile later, and some, albeit very few, work as planned. The difference is, there’s no proof, since you can’t point out a design flaw at the point of failure after the fact and the blame game starts, and that some of it is just dumb luck.
Agreed, obviously Obama and Bush had “experts” in economics helping advise them, but there’s no guarantee that any of their ideas will work flawlessly. Let’s just hope we get it right this time.
Yeah that whole quantifiable and repeatable thing is tough to pin down when there’s about about a billion independent variables.
The good news is, if you’re in the field, no matter what your viewpoint is you can run a report that draws the conclusion you want it to and be backed up with facts.
You could ask what stimulus means. The current bill doesn’t even spend a large part of the money for 2 or 3 years. Some economists call it stimulus, I call it too late.

Did he ever release his school records or is it still a secret?
