I own 30+ guns.

Those Hi-Point carbines are cheap as dirt…you can get them for $150 at the Monroeville gun show. Seems like a good deal, everyone has good things to say about them.

Nothing’s more fun than an AK-47 style rifle. I’ve got three of them.

I had one in the past just as a toy they are fun i never had a real problem with them.

This weekend im sure there is a bunch of them up at the expo mart at the gun show for supercheap like 160 or something. Alot of them there have a laser on em already makes it kinda nice.

its a fun gun to shoot, nothing like and AK, SKS, or even a AR.

They actually feel like a damn paintball gun and its kinda scary cuz it seems like a toy when your shooting it but it shootin pistol rounds.

They also have em in .40 cal i think. I remember seeing them up there if im not mistaken.

Hmm… I would disagree street sweepers are the shit.

Also, I would take a carbon 15 over an ak anyday. So much more fun IMO because you can actually be accurate while dumping clips.

But for just no aiming straight up firing off rounds in the dirt ur right a cheap old AK is the best.

I don’t have the hi-point, rather the Marlin Camp Carbine, 9mm. It’s really cool because it takes Smith and Wesson “wondernine” mags, which can be found at 30 rds for 30 bucks and even during the AWB they were plentiful.

The is a super reliable rifle, I have over 30K rounds thru it and it has yet to puke, even with the cheapest crap (Wolf 9mm) to the “don’t use NATO spec proof rounds”…it eats all of it and begs for more.

Curiously, how’s the Hi-point for reliability? I hear their autoloading pistols are jam-o-matics until they are broken in fully, kinda like most Kel-Tec P11’s behave…great after they are shot a bunch and broken in and sent back to the factory to have the burrs taken off, etc.

AK are junk

AKs are junk? No. They do what they were built for and do it well.

Besides, all AKs aren’t created equally. My Russian VEPR K RPK based rifle is highly accurate and the craftsmanship on it is top notch…my Romanian SAR-1 AKM looks like it was put together by a drunk moron and doesn’t exactly group well at any distance- but it always goes “BANG”, never jams, and requires almost no maintanence.
