I have a dohc MAFS not sure if its working or not but in my 89 the mafs is messed up…randomly it will go out on me at high rpms. the connectors are diffrent and the mafs housing is diffrent. the DOHC one has 4 pins and its a wider plug than the SOHC which has 3 pins. however the DOHC with 4 pins only has three in it…so can i cut and swap the harnesess and mafs’s and have a properly working MAFS? Provided that there are only three actual wires going to the mafs in the dohc car. I have to double check that but im sure theres only three. thanks

no, they work on different voltage ranges…
i have 2 dohs mafs here…dont even try running sohc mafs on dohc car.
