Probably because people would complain about price. “Oh you put the high end Viper against the low end Stingray wahh” even though motortrend would put the Z06 and GT509 against RT Challengers and would then put a new GT500 against an ls3 vette. Theyre usually pretty biased on things even though its already a $140,000 viper ( i believe) against the $65,000 vette.

At $15,000 a scene id have to do about 75 scenes for one. Cant do that much.

i agree, i dislike that there are so many around…but for that same reason they thrive and can continue to bring us better and better cars with every different iteration.

this new c7 platform will be one serious contender.

I just hope it doesnt drive itself like the GTR Does.

That picture looks so good. 90% of car guys totally ignore the fact that road racing like American Lemans etc is all factory direct backed racing and thats the companies racing program. I used to think they needed to do more stuff like copo and drag packs and stuff but thats such a joke compared to what they do in road racing. I wasnt trying to down talk the C7 at all, i know the C7R is going to be a rapist once pratt and miller sends them to the teams. Just look at the C6R they make and the CTSV-R in world challenge, theyre insane.

I picked up my car because i was over drag racing and wanted something i could road race and still dick around with on the highway and be a good car for a novice driver. My car stock is already way to much for me to handle on the track. I should have a 90hp Miata to learn in. My car in Grand Am and World Challenge ETC 302R Version hasnt done amazing but its not at the bottom of the pack. I saw a CTS V coupe the other day i wanted to trade my car in on and build it into more road racing oriented car but then i remembered, the ones crushing in it world challenge etc are NA, Pratt and miller insides from top to bottom and ill never be able to afford that lol.

Little KK of me but all and all, The C7Z and R look yo be awesome cars.

i love my car but i have gone overboard with it. if i had to do it all over i would have made it a road racing car for sure with a NA 500whp small block.

now that i have what i have…i love it but it will be getting some drag parts in the coming year.

im sure you know this but just incase… the viper is limited to the power to weight ratio of the.new ferrari(cant remember the model). ralph gilles and srt has said the viper is capable of surpassing the ferrari np. but untill fiat takes the choker off i dont see it happening
