well, i was at the store yesterday and had about 5 cd’s i wanted to buy but then suddenly realized everytime i buy a cd because of 1 song i like the rest end up sucking.

no. but to jump ahead… you cant put zune drm’ed music on an ipod.

I dont use an ipod, but I make tons of CDs. Can I burn cds using whatever format that come in?

the format is correct, but there is DRM on the music which must be authenticated prior to playing it… so in other words, you cant burn a CD and put it in your car cd player.

EDIT… yeah, legalsounds.com was what I was going to post except for the whole “legal” requirement.
i was looking at legalsounds however it didnt seem they had the absolute lates music. is alltunes any better?
yes alltunes seems to be more updated, but there is always the chance they wont have what you need, im sure there are no sites out there with every album, it sucks.
ive been using legal sounds and so far i like it alot. Unfortunately they dont have everything but you realy cant beat the price. It feels so good to actualy purchase music and not feel like ive wasted money.
