Woah that is awful, it was such a nice ride… but, it totally goes with the teritory! That is awesome that people donated $$ to help him out.
Anyways nice pix, looks like it was an awesome event.
LOL!
So is “Alberto” on this forum or…? Maybe we could all toss a helping hand where possible kind of thing?
Hehehe, oh well not everyone has a sense of humour.
Best of luck to Berto

They do, they just being pussyhurt bitches.
kendrick that is soo cool that people in the crowd helped out…
i would have for sure if i had stayed longer but i readlly had to go, i was 3 hours late for work on monday morning…lol
at first Berto was cool and so i thought eveyrthing was cool, but when it set in in felt really bad for the guy. i called him just as my dad and i were leaving the province.
he’ll bounce back though, and i dont think anyone is laughing at him, if you are going to write-off your car, that was the place to do it…lol
I wouldn’t pitch in. :o
As for my buff out comment, I made it in a humorous way and I didn’t mean to offende anyone.
If this was to happen to me I would feel like shit too. And although I don’t know Alberto I still feel bad for the guy because I know what it’s like to put all your heart and soul into something and then lose it.
But at the same time when you are competing in a sport such as this you got to keep in mind that these things will happen and it’s only a matter of time when it will happen to you. If you can’t bear something like this happening to you then you shouldn’t be competing in drifting. Even the best drifters lose it sometimes. Perfect example was DX2 team signal smashed one of their cars around the turn.
So yes I feel sorry for the guy but at the same time it’s not like he didn’t know about the chances he is taking on that track.
…And it will not just buff out, it will probably need some wet sanding too followed by some touch up paint.
It’s tuff to see in the pix but the damage doesnt look all that bad…
Anymore Pix?
Why look into another chassis?
So much time was invested in that one no?
My accident looked just as bad, his tire is just a little further towards the back…
Needless to say though Alberto I hope you get back on your
feet and look at it as a chance to improve, I know I did…
:grouphug:
From the pic it looks like the suspension is completely owned, and as
maurice said the rocker is bent back.
He hit the corner of a cement Jersey, it was pretty hard on the car.
Nutta who made u such an ass? Did your mom not breast feed u as a kid?
The chasis is toast; The car hit hard enough to tear apart Tension rod bracket, tear apart the lower control arm (between the ball joint and Tension rod), and push the tire into the car, crush the ecu and royaly screw up the A-pillar.
Chasis is twisted in a couple directions; its not a pretty site.
Engine, suspension, and other major compenents seem to be okay. So just need to get a few things and transplant everything to a new chasis.
I’ll try get some pic’s up later.
Ouch. I know that almost too well. Just hitting curbs. But my car is out now because of the same sorta reason it sucks but berto has some cash to fix it. Which makes me real happy mine wasn’t as bad.
Sorry bro lemme know if I can do anything.
Probably not. I tend to bite.
It sucks what happened to Alberto, and i hope he gets back on his feet, but like i said before drifting includes having to endure hardships. Towing fee being one of the hardships. Good luck to him.
Not trying to be an ass, trying to be real.
Kudos to all the supporters though. Good to see ppl getting involved.
yeah the car is toast, i wish i had another day there to play a larger role in helping Berto out… i felt bad for having to leave.
some people are goina make a run to montreal to help strip the car this weekend…Im sure berto would appreciate the help if any of you are interested
Man if this were any other weekend I would be able to come with my cube van and he’d be able to put everything in it. What day or all weekend?
