I went to some shoe place with RX3 on the way to track day once just to see what they had. Ended up walking out with a pair of ridiculously comfortable Adidas. They’re like Silver said - thin sole, no laces, easy to feel what you’re doing.
Idunno, I kinda like my new pumas. Matter of fact, I am wearing them now.
oh and chicanes cost 100 dollars. My pumas were 40.
yeah, any thin sole shoe that is somewhat narrow works well from my experience.
I don’t really put too much thought into it. Just decided to give a different set of shoes a try.
pay to play suckkkaaaa
Chuck Taylors. Low tops though.
i hate driving in my new work shoes. they are super uncomfortable. i always found pumas to be the most comfortable as my foot is wide enough to heel toe. i wanna try on the new chicanes though.
anyone else all for driving bare foot? that’s my favorite.
I like barefoot becuase I get a lot of feedback, however, you just cannot get great response out of the pedals. A slightly stiff sole allows you to really hammer on the pedals.
I have a pair of these in white with black stripes and I LOVE them. I can’t find them in stores anymore though. Are they available online anywhere?
did you nail your pedals in or something? it never bothers me no matter how hard i’m hitting them.
I got mine at Laux
pumas
I’ve got two pairs of pilotis and I love them. They have worked well for dunnville and the glen.
anything with a thin sole, I’m not as picky as some.
Picked these up for $19 at Ross in NC. Bought 7 pairs in different colors
those are hot. I would rock those everywhere.
damn! thats a crazy price. arent they about $80 normally? i alsmost sprung for a pair last year but i have size 14 so i dont know if i would have even been able to get them. I want to get something soon though. the skate shoes are OK that i normally wear, but I want to try something different
those run $30-50 on ebay, not bad
bare foot FTW
safety first.
My Pumas used to be my fav shoe to wear while driving. I used to hate driving in big clunky boots.
