dsm fmic application questions

Well i am having a problem on deciding what fmic, piping and bov would be the best for my goals and application. For starters what is done to my car , 6-bolt swap with 2g head running 9:2:1 comp,3in turbo back,dsmlink v2 ,fic 850cc injectors,fpr, 2g exaust mani,evoIII 16g,apexi turbo timer/air fuel,defi boost,and egt. I am currently running 10lbs boost but my awhp goal is in the 350 to 400 range. Now what do people think of these fmic

-Greddy 24v vspec
-Garrett
-percision
-slowboy racing
-ebay shit core

If you have one or had one please chime in or if you have good input on one post up what you know such as good bad do’s and dont’s

Gary and I have always had good luck with the 600hp Precision core. Nice cast end tanks with smooth transitions, garrett core, mounting bosses. I would recommend that and have Gary make you some IC piping. Other than that I personally wouldn’t use anything else as this is tried and true. Your horsepower goal is reasonable on the 16g a little high on the 400 side with 93 octane. Meth is a band aid. If you want an honest 400 awhp get a 30R :slight_smile:

Thanks i am most likly going to go with the slowboy as it will give me maximum cooling and will give me room for the next set up as well.

I have the Precision core Don is talking about. Its a nice piece and you don’t have to worry about blowing out an endtank.
