i thoght i read an article about not being able to dual boot with vista if you enable the encryptrion/security “bitlocker”.
just dont enable that and you should be ok
thanks jon… oh, and does anyone know how I can get the beta2 version? I looked on microsofts webiste but it said that you cant d/l it yet?
I’m sure I can get it thru P2P but would like an official copy (aka, not pirated)
I think Microsoft is going to do a public beta release eventually. Whether this is beta2 or later I’m not sure.
You can easily dual boot with your current version of Windows. I did this with Beta 1. The installer for Vista actually gives you the option to dual boot.
Haha about 3-4 years (just for kicks) I was triple booting XP, Linux, and a way early Alpha release of Longhorn (maybe 3063?) that was basically XP with a fruity theme and an instability patch. The booting part worked fine.
kevin… my stupidity doesnt allow me to use irc
does it require a cd key or anything like that (for those that have used it)? thanks gents
ok, got it on the way
